Summary Review

What could be better than free poker play for real money winnings in the Everest Poker Zero Buy-in poker tournaments? Everest Poker spots you from the very beginning with free poker tournament play, offers an additional $100 welcome bonus, and a $50 Refer a Friend bonus to help fund your poker wagers. In fact, if you win a Zero-Buy-in poker hand, and parlay the earning into higher-stakes play, you could win $80 in as few as eight poker hands at Everest Poker. Who says you can't get something for nothing? Everest Poker is poker heaven for novice poker players.

Everest Poker is the king of multi-national, multi-language, multi-currency poker. With downloads available in eight languages and more on the way, Everest Poker attracts poker players from around the world, blurring the lines between poker playing peak and off-peak times.
Getting Started
The Everest Poker software is powered by Grand Virtual. The small download is quick and easy and so is the installation. Immediately upon registering, you'll receive your $100 welcome bonus from Everest Poker, even with no deposit. Funding options are plentiful and withdrawing your poker winnings from Everest Poker is hassle-free. If you withdraw to NetTeller, you can receive your funds in approximately one business day. You can fund your Everest Poker account with as little as $5, but you can begin playing poker immediately at the free-to-enter tables and you just might win some real money before you make your first deposit, if you ever make one.
It would be difficult to describe the software as slick. In fact, at first glance the Everest Poker lobby appears cluttered. After you get your bearings, you'll see that the clutter is actually information rich. The lobby is divided into four main areas - Find a Table, the Find a Seat wizard helps you quickly locate a poker table in play with an empty seat based on your criteria, the poker table details area and the account details area at the bottom. In addition, the Everest Poker lobby provides easy access to the Poker Training Room and user-selected optional amenities.
The poker rooms at Everest Poker are far more aesthetically pleasing than the poker lobby. Each player at the poker table is represented by a user-selected avatar. The poker games move fast, because each player can pre-select his or her next bet. Chat among the poker players is available in one of the many languages supported by Everest Poker, and you can follow the poker hand moves and stats as you play at the poker table.
Playing
For the moment, Everest Poker only offers Texas Hold 'em. The Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud and 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo poker rooms (tabs) in the Everest Poker lobby are grayed out, but will be available soon. Poker tournaments are limited to single-table Texas Hold 'em poker tournaments - for the moment.
If you're a poker novice, Everest Poker should be among your top online poker destinations. Along with the usual tutorials, FAQs, poker tips and tricks, poker rules, poker terms and poker hand ranking explanations, Everest Poker offers two additional and useful learning aids to novices. The interactive poker tutorial gives the novice a good grasp of the online poker environment and the poker training room allows the novice to learn without the additional pressure of real opponents. Progressing from there, novices can play at the free poker tables and then enter the free-to-enter poker tournaments before staking their first dime at the poker tables.
It is a good bet that Everest Poker will mature at the same rate as their novice Internet poker clientele matures - quickly.
