Summary Review
|
: |
Empire Poker taps into a poker network that populates its poker rooms with 10,000+ poker players at a time! You'll find the best of everything at Empire Poker, starting with the elegant and imminently navigable interface powered by iGlobalMedia software. Empire Poker is a class act. From the secure signup and poker play, to the bonuses, to the VIP program, to the extraordinary poker tournaments, the action is the very best that Internet poker has to offer. The only weak link, Empire Poker support, is substandard; there is no toll-free or LiveChat support, only e-mail support. Fortunately, you'll rarely need support at Empire Poker.

Empire Poker, the largest poker room on the Internet, offers ease, elegance, variety and little waiting to its loyal poker playing base. Unless you've been living under a rock, you've seen or heard TV and radio advertisements or Empire Poker's latest marketing gimmick - its attempt to sponsor the Washington Nationals baseball team, one in a long string of creative PR, marketing and advertising campaigns. Everywhere you look, Empire Poker is in the news and this means more players at the poker tables and less wait, if any, for you.
You'll find the usual poker player amenities at Empire Poker. Note that there is no easy way to find buddies and statistics span the current poker game only. Searching for and finding the poker table you want is much easier at Empire Poker than in many other Internet poker rooms.
The Website
The Empire Poker lobby organizes poker games, poker tables, poker tournaments and other information in a collapsible and expandable menu format that every Windows user should find familiar and comfortable. The poker table simulations are soothing and realistic. The graphics are fast and smooth, the cards are easy to read and the entire interface is uncluttered, all while delivering volumes of information when and where you would want to find it. The entire playing environment is poker player friendly.
Empire Poker offers a wide range of poker games, including:
- Texas Holdem
- Omaha High
- Omaha Hi/Lo
- Seven Card Stud
- Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo
Poker tournament buy-ins and fees range from $5/$1 to $250/$20, allowing easy entry into a poker tournament for most poker players. With over $2,000,000 in guaranteed prizes every month, Empire Poker is an accomplished poker player's dream come true and you might even find yourself sharing a tournament poker table with one of the top WSOP winners. Empire Poker also offers $50,000 in daily poker tournament play. Empire Poker currently offers a huge selection of Texas Holdem and Omaha Hi/Lo poker tournaments, including:
- Scheduled
- Satellite
- Specials
- Daily Guaranteed
For novice poker players, Brad Daugherty, 1991 WSOP Champion, serves as Dean of the Empire Poker School. In addition to the standard poker school features, such as poker rules, tips and tricks and poker strategy, the exhaustive Empire Poker School adds newsletters, a forum for the Student Community and a special chat to the curriculum. Beware inexperienced poker players: the advanced players love to eat the poker "fish" for dinner at Empire Poker. If you don't know what you're doing, learn what you can at the poker school and play the free poker tables until you can swim with the sharks.
Deposits, Bonuses and Promotions
The quick and easy signup at Empire Poker requires no deposit. Funding options are plentiful and include major credit cards. Funding your online poker account requires an initial $50 minimum at Empire Poker. You can withdraw by direct deposit or iGM Pay, NetTeller, FPSepassport and bank wire. Count on at least several days to receive your poker winnings after requesting a withdrawal. In addition to the sign-up bonus and Tell-a-Friend Bonus at Empire Poker, there's the exclusive VIP Poker Club. Earn 5000 EP points to become a member and after you join the VIP Poker Club, you earn double points, which you can redeem for a variety of gifts. In addition, you'll get dedicated support, a free Web page and a host of other amenities as a VIP Poker Club member. Be sure to check the Empire Poker monthly even calendar for special poker events.
Empire Poker's new spokesperson, Traci Bingham, former Baywatch star, is bound to keep the poker players rolling into Empire Poker for years to come.
