WOW was my first reaction when I opened the Caribbean Sun Poker program. I couldn't believe my eyes. I can't say enough about the muted elegance of the lobby and poker tables. Leave it to the Europeans to bring a touch of elan to Internet poker. With five different poker games, round-the-clock single and multi-table tournaments and poker game play, you could spend an entire day at the poker tables playing poker in three currencies: US dollar, British pound and the Euro.
Caribbean Sun Poker attracts intermediate to expert poker players with its higher-than-average minimums. If you're a poker novice or you're new to online poker, pull up a seat and watch a few poker hands even before you play the free poker games. I was a little surprised at the skill level of the players at the free poker tables. If you're an expert Internet poker player, you'll appreciate the vast array of bonuses, the customizable interface, all the playing amenities, the quality of poker players and the level of play available at Caribbean Sun Poker.

The graphics are fast, but the muted reds and grays are easy on the eyes, which facilitates poker play for hours on end. In fact, it's easy to lose track of the time when you're at the poker tables. The optional sounds of the cards, chips and the dealer's voice at Caribbean Sun Poker add an authentic element to your poker playing experience. The combination of these flourishes resulted in Caribbean Sun Poker earning a reputation as the most realistic poker experience on the Internet.
Caribbean Sun Poker offers two-click access to each poker table from a simple tabbed interface on the opening screen of the popular Cryptologic software. The highly customizable interface is a welcome amenity. European players add a cosmopolitan air to the poker tables at Caribbean Sun Poker and you can select a poker game in one of several currencies: US dollars, British pounds or Euros.
Games and Betting
The upscale elegance at Caribbean Sun Poker comes at a price. The minimum bet is 25 cents for One on One poker, 50 cents/$1 for Texas Hold 'em and Omaha/Omaha Hi-Low and $1/$2 for 7-card stud. You'll find official poker rules and a glossary of poker terms on the Caribbean Sun Poker website, but this is not the place to cut your teeth on Internet poker using real money.

As well as the usual tournaments, you'll find satellite, freeroll, special and private poker tournaments, with top prizes including seats at the World Series of Poker.
Deposits and Withdrawals
Signup at Caribbean Sun Poker is quick and easy, funding could be easier, initial withdrawal is difficult. You must fund your account through E-Cash Direct. While the payout to your casino account is immediate, withdrawals require a PIN, which Caribbean Sun Poker randomly generates and sends via mail. If you live on the North American side of the pond, allow at least two to three weeks to receive your PIN and heaven help you if you lose it. You'll have to repeat the hurry up and wait exercise. All of these measures are in place for player security and Caribbean Sun Poker places a very strong emphasis on security for its poker playing clientele.
