Summary Review
|
: |
Canbet has some of the strangest poker policies on the internet, and it’s clear that this site is here for the sole intent of fleecing the casual player, the guy who neglects the fine print and decides to drop his sportsbook winning on the poker table. How else to explain a poker site that limits your all-in’s and screws you over when you get disconnected. That said, you won’t have a problem getting your payouts from this company that is reputable for quick payouts.

Canbet Poker - The Poker Website
We are greeted at the door of the website by none other than Academy Award winning actress Cate Blanchett!!! Incredible that she has left the comforts of her Hollywood actressing to modeling for generic internet poker sites!!! What? That’s just a look alike? Preposterous.
Once you get past the photos of actress look-alikes, you are ready to sign up. Registration for the poker site also gets you into the casino and sportsbook, and money is transferable between the three. As for the play, Canbet offers Texas Hold’em and Seven Card Stud, along with various poker tournaments and satellites. Not the best of options, but at least there are some WSOP channels you can explore.
Canbet Poker - Playing the Poker
Canbet has some of the oddest rules in the poker world, and it’s table games suffer as a result. For example, you are allotted a maximum of 2 “all-ins” per day, you can only raise a pot 3 times, and the most ridiculous of all rules, a player is considered “all-in” when he gets disconnected. Knowing that disconnections are a common occurrence, for them to put you all-in every time it happens, it’s mind-boggling.
Canbet Poker - Poker Bonuses and Promotions
All new Canbet poker accounts qualify for a free $100 bonus. Of course, you have to play 1000 raked hands in 45 days, that’s right, A THOUSAND raked hands in 45 DAYS, and you will get your c-note. There are also occasional free rolls. That’s it.
Canbet Poker - Customer Service and Poker Player Reviews
Canbet provides a detailed help section that lists all of its insane rules and policies. They also have helpful people on the phone to explain their insane rules and policies. Yet in spite of all this, their rules and policies remain insane. The only user news on Canbet are obvious shills, and there is no actual buzz on the poker being played here. Maybe the damn place is a ghost town, which wouldn’t be much of a surprise.
Canbet Poker - Overall Poker Rating
No matter how many ways you slice it, Canbet’s idiotic policies on betting make it one of the most unattractive poker sites on the internet. Perhaps they are running a scared operation, fearful of the professional or planned coercion at the table. But why? They make money regardless of what happens, because they earn off the rake. This isn’t blackjack.
