Summary Review
|
: |
True to its theme, Aztec Riches Poker has a whole jungle theme going, which reminds me of the special I saw the other day on the History Channel about poker-playing Aztecs. Aztec Riches Poker offers daily poker tournaments, which are apparently "guaranteed," as opposed to those tournaments that aren't guaranteed. In addition, you have sit and go poker tournaments and free rolls for the poor and Gary Coleman. That's what they should have for "Celebrity Poker," poor celebrities who are playing for their favorite charity of all, themselves. Other candidates include MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice and Tito Jackson.

Registering for Online Poker
Once you've downloaded and installed the Aztec Riches Poker software, you can register as either a real or guest player. After that, you can partake in the various purchase methods, such as credit, NETeller, FirePay, Payspark, Click2Pay, etc. Cashing out is as simple as clicking the cashier button and then selecting your method. Checks will be charged a nominal fee, as will any third party money transaction. Choose wisely.
Poker Bonuses and Promotions
The initial deposit bonus is 50% up to $100, although the people at Aztec Riches Poker also indicate the bonus limit is $50. This is what my lawyer tells me is "contradictory information" and I can only assume the whole system is a desperate attempt to confuse and rattle me and ultimately affect my poker game.
Other bonuses include a bad beat jackpot for losing hands four of a kind or better. The person who gets the "bad beat" earns 50%, the winner 25% and everyone else in the hand gets the other 25%. Another promotion is the "magic hand bonus," which randomly selects a hand once a day and declares it magical. Which in itself is an amazing, magical event and the $250 for the winner of the hand is nice, too.
Customer Service and Poker Player Reviews
Aztec Riches Poker makes the haughty claim that their emails will be replied to within thirty minutes! Well this seems like an unbelievably good service team, until you realize they don't offer phone support. What kind of online poker company doesn't have a phone number? But then I realized, Aztecs never had phones and I'm not sure they even had poker. The only option then is to partake in live chat, so you best get your AOL skills ready.
Overall Poker Rating
Aztec Riches Poker clearly leaves a lot to desire for. The bonuses are minimal, the poker tournaments are paltry and the whole concept of Aztecs playing poker only serves to confuse me even more. The customer service team don't even have to take phone calls. Which is a cushy deal for them, but what about the customer? It seems none of these Aztecs have any riches left to speak of.
